NSW Region East – Home Among The Gum Trees Service Project

Home Among The Gum Trees NSW is a registered charity that focuses on offering help to people seeking asylum.

The charity helps families, migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, victims of disaster and people from cultural diverse backgrounds 

Currently SSIO NSW Region East have been providing assistance in the form of groceries and monetary donations. This service opportunity will be ongoing as the NSW Covid pandemic continues. 

The items that members have generously donated so far and are continuing to donate include 

      • rice
      • chickpeas
      • lentils
      • cooking oil
      • long life milk
