Sathya Sai School continues to Shine

On 7 June 2020 the Annual General Meeting for the Sathya Sai College was held in which a video presentation highlighting the continued growth of the school was shown. The video showed how the school the development of the school is progressing leaps and bounds and captures the essential role that volunteers from the Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSIO) have played in helping its development. The areas of growth of the school was presented by the Sathya Sai College principal Cal Atkins.

Group 3 & 4 SSE Students & Parents Empowerment Workshop

With Swami’s love, grace and blessings the National Education Wing of the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG held two Empowerment Workshops in the months of June and July 2020 for Group 3 & 4 students and parents. This workshop was led by Brother Sridhar Subramonian, alumnus of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning in Puttaparthi and the current National Devotional Coordinator for SSIO Australia. It was offered for the first time in a virtual setting Australia wide. It was well attended and well received by Group 3 & 4 students, parents and teachers across the country.

Sai Young Adults Australia Launch The Lion’s Roar Podcast

Thirty years ago on the morning of May 20, 1990, Swami delivered the first of a series of discourses in front of a large gathering of young adults. It was the 1990 Summer Course and the set of discourses that Swami delivered during this event are nothing but a manifestation of Swami’s love and grace. Numerous devotees have commented that the 1990 Summer Showers discourses in particular were pivotal in their spiritual journey – perhaps even life-changing!

From the Archives – Jamie Seymour’s exquisite journey with Sai

 Before I begin, let me offer this prayer.

“Swami Please guide and guard me in all I say and do.

So that I may be a good instrument for you.

And in the evening when I reflect

Please let me see that I have treated all with love and respect.

Om Sai Ram”

The experiences of my 73 years of life are laid out behind me resembling a road over which I have journeyed. As with all great journeys, this road has passed equally through the bright sunlight and the dark, deep night. But throughout it all, the magic that I have come to understand is that I was not alone. I was guided by my Friend, my Swami, who was always with me.
