Ten Day Navarathri Bhajan Celebrations in Brisbane

The Divine is omnipresent and is in everyone and in every object. Realising this oneness, all actions should be done as an act of dedication to the Divine. Imagine the bliss that can be experienced in such a state of mind! It is essential to celebrate the festival in this sacred spirit. It is not enough to do this for only ten days during the Navaratri festival. It should become the rule all through one’s life, till the time one draws one’s life-breath.

Service Activity for Migrants affected by COVID-19 shutdown

In April 2020 NSW Region East was notified of a grocery drive that was coordinated by the “Tamil Friends of Labour” and “Tamil Resource Centre”. The grocery drive consisted of essential items such as rice, lentils, oil, sugar, flour, salt, chickpeas, long life milk and many more. The items were sorted by volunteers of the above mentioned organisations who also delivered them on a weekly basis. These were delivered to Tamil families and households that were impacted by COVID-19 due to loss of income and being ineligible for the JobSeeker assistance as they were on bridging visas.

Avatar Declaration Day – National Program

A national online program was held by the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia to observe the auspicious occasion of Avatar Declaration Day on 20 October 2020 from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The program was put together by the devotees from Western Australia Region and Tasmania Region. It was on this day in the year 1940 that Swami, whom until then was known as Sathya Narayana Raju, declared to his family and the world that he was Sathya Sai Baba. From  this point onwards Swami formally  took up His work of re-invigorating faith and love for God and guiding the transformation the individual and society through the practice of universal human values, ultimately leading to the discovery of our true divine source.

Weekly National Devotional Prayer Sessions – A Beacon of Light

Weekly online Thursday devotional prayer sessions have been held by the Sathya Sai International Organisation Australia ever since the onset of the Covid-19 restrictions. These prayer sessions have been nothing short of a beacon of light amidst the dark and uncertain times that everyone is facing. Each of these soulful prayer sessions has helped focus devotees minds and hearts on god and provide hope and faith that everything takes place as per divine will.
